Rizki Agus

Hi, I am Rizki

I’m an Indonesian product designer with a passion for UX UI Design, 3D illustration, and travel.

About me

I’ve been in UI/UX design for over 4 years now, and along the way, I’ve worked with tons of companies from all kinds of industries. It’s been a journey of learning how to find a balance between what users need, company goals, and what’s actually possible with tech.

To me, design isn’t just about making things look good. It’s all about solving problems—how something works, how it feels, and most importantly, how it makes people’s lives easier

My Career Path

SignLab Lead Product Designer

March 2024 - Present

When I joined SignLab as a Lead Product Designer, the product was already built, but there was a big opportunity to refine and elevate the overall experience—not just for users but also for the internal team.

SignLab is a platform dedicated to making sign language learning more accessible and effective. Millions of people, especially parents of deaf children, struggle to find affordable and structured ways to learn. The team had built something impactful, but now it was time to take it to the next level.

To get a clear picture of where improvements were needed, I started with a full audit of the existing app. I documented what worked well, what needed refinement, and what could be optimized. Rather than tackling everything at once, I broke the audit into smaller, focused modules, making it easier to implement meaningful changes step by step.

Beyond improving the product experience, I also focused on organizing and structuring the Figma files. A well-structured design system ensures that the team can work more efficiently, find what they need quickly, and maintain consistency across the product.

It’s been exciting to work on a product with such a meaningful mission, and I’m looking forward to continuing to refine and enhance SignLab’s experience for both its users and the team behind it.

Tanya Traveler Co-founder

Jan 2025 - Present

As a digital nomad, one of the biggest challenges I’ve faced is researching a new destination. Where should I stay? Are there coworking spaces? What local food should I try? Are there any hidden gems worth visiting? I often found myself piecing together information from multiple sources, which was time-consuming and frustrating.

That’s where the idea for Tanya Traveler was born. Before jumping into building the platform, I wanted to validate whether others faced the same struggles. So, I talked to fellow travelers, and the response was clear—everyone I interviewed had experienced the same challenges. That was the moment I knew this product needed to exist.

However, building it alone wasn’t realistic. With limited resources, I decided to bring on a co-founder who could focus on the tech side while I handled product design, marketing, and everything else. Together, we turned the idea into a reality.

Since launching, things have been going better than expected. We’ve already had dozens of people subscribe to become consultants on our platform—locals and experienced travelers eager to share their knowledge. It’s just the beginning, but we’re excited to grow Tanya Traveler into a go-to resource for digital nomads and travelers worldwide.

Distribution.AI Product Designer

July 2024 - Present

I took on a new challenge as a Product Designer at Distribution.AI, a product founded by Ross Simmonds. Having worked with Ross for years, I was excited to be part of this project from day one, shaping the vision of a tool designed to revolutionize content distribution.

Distribution.AI is a social post generator that helps creators and marketers turn a single piece of content—whether it’s a blog post, podcast episode, or YouTube video—into multiple social media posts across different platforms. And we’re just getting started. Our goal is to continue expanding its capabilities, making content distribution smarter and more effortless.

From the beginning, I’ve been deeply involved in designing the interface, conducting user research and interviews, and using analytics tools to gather insights that drive our decisions.

It’s still a new product, but we believe it has the potential to transform how content is repurposed and shared online. Watching it grow from an idea into a working product has been an incredible journey, and I’m excited for what’s next.

Foundation Product Designer

June 2023 - Present

In June 2023, I started working with Foundation as a freelance Product Designer, collaborating directly with Ross Simmonds, the CEO. Ross has been one of my long-term clients, and over the years, we’ve built a strong working relationship, tackling projects that go beyond just visuals.

At Foundation, my role has been a mix of designing high-converting landing pages and shaping intuitive SaaS product experiences for both their internal initiatives and client projects. It’s not just about making things look good—it’s about creating designs that drive engagement, improve usability, and tell a compelling story.

Working closely with the team, I’ve learned to balance strategy with design, ensuring that every page and product serves its purpose effectively. It’s been an exciting journey, and I can’t wait to keep pushing the boundaries of what great design can do.

Designstripe Product Designer

July 2022 - January 2025

After my first job at Paperpillar, I joined Designstripe. When I came on board, they were already working on a custom illustration generator. But as AI started taking off, we decided to switch gears and build a social media post generator. Learn more about this project

As the solo product designer, I did pretty much everything—from prototyping and building the design system to doing all the UI/UX work. I also got my hands dirty with some UX research using tools like PostHog and Mixpanel to figure out how users were using the app and made updates based on that data. Recently, I started learning front-end development to help bring the design system into code, making it easier for the dev team to reuse components.

I had a blast working there. The team was awesome, and the company really cared about everyone’s well-being. It was definitely the place where I truly thrived!

Paperpillar UX UI Designer

May 2021 - June 2022

I started my design career at Paperpillar, an agency in Indonesia. I got to work with some amazing teams from big names like BCA (Bank Central Asia), Cultfit, Arena, UI8, Ceria, and many more.

I’m super grateful for my time there—learning how to communicate with clients, juggle tons of different projects, and pick up a lot from senior designers. Plus, I learned how to move fast and get things done!

Freelance UX UI Designer & 3D Illustrator

August 2021 - Present

Alongside my full-time roles, I also work as a freelance UI/UX designer and 3D illustrator. Over the years, I’ve collaborated with brands like Elastic, Asuransi Astra, Foundation Marketing, Distribution.AI, and many others (some I can’t name due to NDAs).

Freelancing has allowed me to expand my skills and work on a variety of exciting projects, constantly pushing my creative boundaries.

Life as a Digital Nomad

"You only live once, so live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams."

To me, You Only Live Once isn’t just a phrase; it’s how I live my life! With that mindset, I’ve been on an incredible journey as a digital nomad, hopping from city to city and country to country, working remotely while exploring the world. So far, I’ve visited 10 countries—and this is just the beginning!

What I love most about this lifestyle is discovering amazing coworking spaces and cafes in every city I visit. There’s something magical about working in new environments and connecting with people from all over the world—it keeps me inspired and excited for whatever’s next.
